We had our 18 week ultrasound today. We left Shep with the family, but Neko got to come with us. We only told her about the baby this morning, so she was revved up and excited to go. I think she was more excited about seeing the baby with “the big machine that can see into Mom’s belly” than anything else, but that’s a start, right?
Everything checks out—10 fingers, 10 toes. And once Neko gets over the excitement of the ultrasound machine, we’re sure she’ll start getting excited about her new baby sister.
