    Sunday morning

When two creative people meet and breed, the resulting number of projects already in progress before noon is kind of ridiculous.

  • 40

    40

Celebrating with one of my dearest friends. Happy 40th, Marlo!

  • Paper airplane

    Paper airplane

I adore that this paper airplane was not complete until it had passengers and a pilot.

  • Bantam egg

    Bantam egg

Our bantam chicken just began laying. That’s a regular egg on the right and the bantam egg on the left. This photo does not properly convey how ridiculously cute they are.

I suddenly want to make tiny little omelets.

  • Halloween

    Halloween

Freezing pre-teens who don’t want to pose for a photo. A hippie in long sleeves (!) who might have his pants on backwards. A mermaid so bundled up that she no longer looks like a mermaid. Digging into the haul. A glass of wine for the grown-ups.

  • Pause

    Pause

As I dropped Shep and his cousin Chris off for an all-day climbing trip, I stopped and told them I had to take their picture first. Because, when, oh, when, did they get so old?

  • Mermaids

    Mermaids

A terrific Halloween parade begins when you show up to the parade to find your good friend is wearing the exact same costume as you are, and you didn’t even plan it.

  • Afro circus

    Afro circus

Tom picked up a copy of Madagascar 3 at the grocery store. Someone really loved the freebie wig that came along with it.

Apparently, if you want to make people at a grocery store smile, you release a dancing 5-year-old in a rainbow wig.
